Do I need to be Muslim to study Sufism?
Not at all. While Sufism emerged from the Islamic tradition, its insights about love, consciousness, and the nature of reality speak to seekers of all backgrounds. Many of our community members come from Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Buddhist, or secular backgrounds.
Are these authentic teachings?
We work with scholars and practitioners to present translations and interpretations that honor the original teachings. We're transparent about different translation choices and encourage you to explore multiple sources.
What if I'm completely new to Sufism?
Perfect. The Garden (free tier) and Guided Reading are designed specifically for newcomers. Start with the poetry - let it speak to you before you worry about understanding everything intellectually.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes. If you start with a lower tier and want to go deeper, simply pay the difference to upgrade. Your journey unfolds at its own pace.
Is this a subscription?
No. All paid tiers are one-time purchases with lifetime access. We believe spiritual wisdom shouldn't be gated by monthly fees.
Can this replace a living teacher?
No, and we don't pretend otherwise. The Sufi tradition emphasizes the importance of a murshid (guide). Our offerings are educational resources, not a substitute for the living transmission. We encourage seekers to eventually find authentic teachers and communities.
